Here's a recipe for Pizza Margherita, a classic Italian pizza
Ingredients:
- To make a Pizza Margherita
- You will require a pizza mixture weighing 500 grams (which can be custom-made or locally acquired)
- 400 grams of canned striped tomatoes that are squashed manually
- 2 minced cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil, salt
- newly ground dark pepper to taste
- 200 grams of daintily cut new mozzarella, and some new basil leaves.
Instructions:
Preheat your broiler to 250°C (480°F).
- In a bowl, combine as one the squashed tomatoes, minced garlic, and extra-virgin olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Carry out the pizza mixture on a floured surface to a thickness of around 1cm. Put it on a baking sheet fixed with material paper. Spread the pureed tomatoes over the pizza mixture, leaving a little line around the edge.
- Organize the mozzarella cuts on top of the sauce. Prepare the pizza on the preheated stove for 10-12 minutes, until the covering is brilliant brown and the cheddar is liquefied and effervescent.
- Eliminate the pizza from the stove and let it cool for a couple of moments. Top with new basil leaves and serve.
Enjoy your homemade Pizza Margherita!
