Due to allegations made during Meghan Markle's interview with Oprah Winfrey, Samantha is filing a lawsuit.
Their first interview since stepping down as working royals was this one. They left the UK to live independently financially.
In the interview for the tell-all that took place a month before Prince Philip's death, they had also made accusations against the royal family.
"If I were Meghan, I'd be, undoubtfully, very worried tonight," Bower said a day after a judge rejected a move to prevent Harry and Meghan from giving evidence in the case. The judge decided that Samantha Markle's lawsuit against Meghan for libel and defamation must be heard in depositions because she is Meghan's half-sister.
"The judge did not say the case would be thrown out, only that some of the questions may be withdrawn," the author stated in an interview with Dan Wootton on GB News.
The Duchess of Sussex moved to halt the depositions in September of last year, but presiding judge Charlene Edwards Honeywell denied the motion.
A deposition, as defined by express.co.uk, is a formal testimony given by a party to a case that can be given outside of court but still under oath.
"Meghan really has a problem because her lawyers have been stonewalling up until this point, saying, "This is so ridiculous we refuse to even engage with Samantha Markle." They will be compelled to do so right now,"
