Cash constraints tighten as Oil industry fears 'collapse'

According to the Oil and Gas Association of Pakistan (OGC), the devaluation of the

Pakistani Rupee has fully impacted the oil refining industry, causing a loss of millions of

Rupees. The Oil and Gas Association and Energy Interest Group have outlined the

situation and the Central Bank of Pakistan has demonstrated a decrease in the value of

the Rupee, which has increased the cost of oil industry revenues. Due to global financial

market conditions, the public's confidence in the currency has forced the devaluation of

the Rupee to its record low.
